GHE have two multi-functional
handrail connecting systems used
for joining stanchions and partitions
in buses, coaches and rolling stock
but which can also be used for
enhancing the safety of large-scale
machines and other industrial applications.
A FLUSH-FITTING HANDRAIL SYSTEM
(using a conical tensioning technique) provides a neat
connection with the tubing and consists of various joints
such as:
Partition supports, T-joints, spacers, roof joints, floor joints, stanchion extenders,
support clamps, corner joints angled at 45° and 90°, and handrail supports
Characteristics
- Invisible connection by means of an expanding
tapered shank inside the handrail - Modular concept
- In most cases possible to incorporate vehicle wiring
- As only straight lengths of handrail tube need to be
cut to the required length, expensive and time-consuming
bending and welding operations are no longer necessary - Mating edges between joint and tube trimmed with plastic rings
- Flush-fitting caps hide the bolt positions
- Handrails easily and quickly replaced
This system can also be used to manufacture complete partitions which comply with the requirements of ECE safety directives.
CLASSICAL HANDRAIL SYSTEM
Consisting optionally of polished or anodised aluminium pressure die-castings for tube diameters of 25, 30 or 40 mm :
- End brackets
- Middle joints
- Pivot bearings
- Pendulum joints
- T-joints
- Elbow joints
- Wall, floor and roof joints
- Crosspiece joints
- Partition supports in various configurations
